I’m Iaia Colella, a Brain Performance Coach with a background in psychology, neuroscience and sport performance. I help athletes train their mind with the same structure, discipline and intensity they use to train their body, so they can compete with clarity, confidence and control.

Before becoming a coach, I spent years studying human behaviour, performance and the mental patterns that shape how we think, feel and act under pressure. Through my BSc in Psychology and my MSc in Clinical & Cognitive Neuroscience at Brunel University London, I discovered one truth that drives all my work today: your brain is trainable and mental performance is a skill you can build.

I’ve worked with athletes across different sports, helping them overcome mental blocks, regulate emotions, build confidence and perform consistently at their highest potential.

My approach is structured, scientific and personalised. I don’t teach generic “mindset”. I help athletes build mental systems, cognitive habits and performance routines that work when the pressure is highest: in training, in competition and in recovery.

I founded Brain Performance Coaching to give athletes what’s often missing in traditional training: a place to strengthen the mind as deliberately as the body, develop resilience, and perform with unwavering focus.
